The Founder's Journey

Our Story

From the frontline urgency of emergency medical services to proactive digital twin intelligence, how a clinical question evolved into Bio360AI.

The Spark

It started with an emergency.

As an EMT, the founder, Sid Karnati, learned how much a calm voice and a quick response can mean to someone who is frightened. In those moments, his attention belonged to the person in front of him: assessing their condition, offering reassurance, and helping them reach further care. Afterward, another question emerged: could there have been an opportunity to help before the emergency?

Clinical Practice

The question followed him into the clinic.

Working as a medical assistant, Sid saw how difficult it could be to capture weeks of daily health in a brief appointment. Patients had to recall changes in how they felt, while physicians pieced together their accounts with medical histories and test results. He wanted to help that connection continue between visits.

This goal shaped Bio360AI, a mobile platform designed to build personalized health digital twins using wearable measurements, medical history, and clinical records. By bringing these inputs together over time, we aim to support continuous monitoring, helping patients and physicians notice changes and identify trends that need professional review.

Today, our focus is testing whether these models provide accurate, clinically useful insights across diverse patient populations. We want everyday health data to support more informed conversations and earlier attention to emerging concerns.

And the idea became Bio360AI.

We built Bio360AI to help patients and physicians stay connected between appointments. The mobile platform brings wearable measurements, medical history, and clinical records together into a personalized health digital twin, a model designed to reflect how someone’s health changes over time.

Our goal is to make those changes easier to understand and share, helping physicians identify trends that deserve closer review. We are now testing the models for accuracy and clinical usefulness across diverse patient populations. The people behind the data remain our reason for building: patients who want to understand their health and physicians who want to support them beyond each visit.

My Journey

My journey with Bio360AI began with my grandmother’s cardiac arrest and a question I could not shake: could health risks be recognized earlier? That question led me to develop Bio360, a health digital twin framework exploring how medical history, wearable measurements, and everyday habits could help us understand changes in health over time. I presented the work through a workshop talk and research poster at IEEE ICHI 2026, and published two papers in IEEE Xplore. Turning that research into the Bio360AI mobile app gave me a way to put these ideas into people’s hands and learn from their experiences. Now, I am preparing for a Kickstarter campaign and a WWDC submission while continuing to refine and evaluate the platform. The question that started with my grandmother still guides me: how can we give patients and physicians a better chance to recognize concerning changes and respond sooner?
